LANCELOT,
GALAAD's milling module in an AxeMotion's special release

Feel free to download and evaluate our CNC software solution.
Lancelot can control your machine with a CNC AxeMotion's card, using GCODE files (ISO) or even DXF, HPGL, PLT and many others.
Of course you could use the full version of Galaad (available on this site) which is an integrated software solution with design (CAD), tool patch calculation (CAM) and machining (CNC) with Lancelot (Lancelot is included in Galaad), or build your own software suite from free software.
The initial design can be produced with TurboCAD 6.5, legally downloadable here .
TurboCad will produce DXF files, and from DXF to GCODE there's the toolpath calculation.
It will calculate the trajectory of the cutting tool taking into account its size, so that the final piece will have the size of your drawing.
CamBam, another free tool, will realize this and transform DXF to GCODE.

With these three tools and a minimal investment (Lancelot AxeMotion license costs only 50 euros when purchased with an AxeMotion's CNC card), you will have a full suite CAD-CAM-CNC .
Lancelot License AxeMotion is freely downloadable but it will not work immediately with an AxeMotion's CNC card. To do this you must activate the license at the CNC card. (The CNC card will works as a security dongle).
If you put in the basket a license Lancelot AxeMotion with a CNC card, it will automatically imply the license, otherwise you should return the card to include the software license.
